This project features young people from rural and regional Australia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates sharing stories of historical and contemporary experiences through objects and imagery which will resonate regardless of place, language or socioeconomic circumstance, and foster understanding and empathy across cultural divides

Then and Now: Our Story in a Box is a proud initiative of The Hands-on-Humanities Project

The Hands-on-Humanities Project acknowledges the traditional owners of country throughout Australia, and their continuing connection to land, sea and community.  We pay our respects to them and their cultures, and to elders past, present and emerging.
